Coming Soon… McCrory Ltd implementing ISO 14001:2004

McCrory Ltd are revising, upgrading environmental procedures and policies and undergoing staff training in order to implement ISO 14001:2004. This standard along with existing ISO 9001:2008 and pending OHSAS 18001:2007 will prove to be a valuable asset of the company and when implemented and used in accordance with the standards will improve safety and efficiency from a wide range of perspectives.

Coming Soon… McCrory Ltd implementing BS OHSAS 18001:2007

McCrory Ltd are currently upgrading Health and Safety documentation, procedures and Policies in order to acquire the standard of OHSAS 18001:2007. It is anticipated that the standard will be in place on or before 31st January 2012.

1st February 2012: McCrory Ltd introduce “All Orange” PPE policy

Recognising that Health and Safety is of paramount importance, and following site feedback and other jurisdiction’s measures, McCrory Ltd have decided to introduce an “All Orange” PPE policy similar to that adopted by Network Rail in the UK in 200?. This means that all staff working on or near the railway line must wear high visibility clothing conforming to GORT3367 and EN471 on both the torso and legs.

17th October 2011: McCrory Ltd join forces with TQ Catalis.

McCrory Ltd have recently agreed terms with TQ Catalis, leading supplier of training for the rail industry in the UK. TQ Catalis are renowned for their high standards in all aspects of rail related work from the CPCS to train drivers.

TQ Catalis have agreed to provide McCrory Ltd onsite training in Dublin, commencing 24th October 2011 for all staff associated with railway work on Small Plant And Tools (S.P.A.T.) training. TQ Catalis’ exceptional experience and extremely high standards of training are fundamental in delivering the high standards of service that McCrory Ltd are committed to.
